Code, Education § 24–703.3","heading":"","body":"(a) The Center shall develop a protocol that is fully aligned with the Center’s data sets and security standards for:\n(1) A county board to convert a student’s home address and geolocation information into census tract and block numbers; and\n(2) The Department to collect the census tract and block number information from a county board and provide the information to the Center.\n(b) For fiscal years 2021 and 2022, the Governor shall appropriate in the annual State budget $100,000 to the Center for development of the protocol under this section.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=24-703.3","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"13a7897ad50180fdaab5b9e755fb088a4595b7d26bd5b0af10d4d7eddeaf0913","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-24-703.2","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-24-704"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
