Code, Education § 26–505","heading":"","body":"(a) In deciding to deny or limit a student’s access to campus residency under § 26–504 of this subtitle, an institution of higher education shall develop a process for determining whether there is a relationship between a student’s criminal history and campus residency.\n(b) The process developed under this section shall be set forth in writing and shall include consideration of:\n(1) The age of the student at the time any aspect of the student’s criminal history occurred;\n(2) The time that has elapsed since any aspect of the student’s criminal history occurred;\n(3) The nature of the criminal history; and\n(4) Any evidence of rehabilitation or good conduct produced by the student.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=26-505","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"df48e69b4aec2705e36cdc3e961504fc8e7ec716a8338bb6194096b0873a6559","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-26-504","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-26-506"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
