Code, Education § 5–328","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) In this section, “waste disposal infrastructure” means a physical waste disposal line located where food is distributed that allows a student to efficiently and properly dispose of waste at the end of a meal.\n(2) “Waste disposal infrastructure” includes:\n(i) A place for the disposal of:\n1. Trash;\n2. Recyclables; and\n3. Food scraps; and\n(ii) A sink for liquid waste.\n(b) The Interagency Commission shall adopt regulations that require a county board to include waste disposal infrastructure in the design documents submitted to the Interagency Commission for the construction of a new school building utilizing State funding.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=5-328","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"db0b470b1cf8f5d0cda3b381eab75f1dcdd28e1c492675e47f754258f5514b5f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-5-327","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-5-329"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
