Code, Education § 6–404","heading":"","body":"(a) An election held under Title 22, Subtitle 4 of the State Government Article shall be held:\n(1) In each school facility where public employees are assigned on a regularly scheduled school day;\n(2) In a manner assuring the secrecy of the ballot; and\n(3) On a regular working day for public school employees, between June 1 and June 15, inclusive, except in Baltimore City where the elections shall be held between November 1 and November 15 following the date on which certification of required membership enrollment is made.\n(b) The public school employer shall provide any assistance required in holding the elections.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=6-404","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"48a91d2d35bd22ef9ec5fbf6dbfad35c2c140d75f332903fe6f310c47db35ca4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-6-403","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-6-405"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
