Code, Education § 6–707","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) From among its members, the Board shall appoint a Review Board.\n(2) The Review Board consists of five members which shall be composed of:\n(i) The State Superintendent;\n(ii) The local board of education member;\n(iii) Two of the public school teacher members; and\n(iv) One of the teacher education faculty members.\n(3) One member of the Review Board shall be appointed to act as a liaison between the Board and the Review Board.\n(b) (1) The term of a member of the Review Board is 1 year.\n(2) Upon the recommendation of the State Superintendent, a member of the Review Board may be reappointed once.\n(3) The term of office shall be from September 1 of the calendar year in which the appointment is made.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=6-707","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"280dbeb34526b4417a51af38c3fff95be05fa96fe0c7f7eccfd0f76a96b0c3fd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-6-706","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-6-708"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
