Code, Education § 6–905","heading":"","body":"In any action brought under this subtitle, a court may:\n(1) Issue an injunction to restrain continued violation of this subtitle;\n(2) Reinstate the public school employee to the same or an equivalent position held before the violation of § 6–902 of this subtitle;\n(3) Remove any adverse personnel record entries based on or related to the violation of § 6–902 of this subtitle;\n(4) Reinstate full fringe benefits and seniority rights;\n(5) Require compensation for lost wages, benefits, and other remuneration; and\n(6) Assess reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation expenses against:\n(i) The public school employer, if the public school employee prevails; or\n(ii) The public school employee, if the court determines that the action was brought by the public school employee in bad faith and without basis in law or fact.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=6-905","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"dd8e900bbbab5220231ba380a389f9b8314a95c9cb67adceb84cb39789090177","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-6-904","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-6-906"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
