Code, Education § 8–506","heading":"","body":"(a) The Department shall ensure that each county board takes reasonable measures to implement this section.\n(b) A county board shall inform:\n(1) Principals, teachers, and other school personnel in the county of the requirements imposed by this subtitle;\n(2) Children in State-supervised care and responsible adults acting on behalf of children in State-supervised care of the rights conferred by this subtitle; and\n(3) Other interested parties of the requirements imposed and the rights conferred by this subtitle.\n(c) The Department shall adopt regulations to implement this section on or before January 1, 2006.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=8-506","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"bccd5f50b40f4c7712605447e26b4f042bdb7fd20303ada1aedbbb8404cb2626","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-8-505","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-8-507"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
