Code, Education § 9.5–701","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Family child care provider” means an individual who participates in the Maryland Child Care Subsidy Program who is:\n(1) A registered provider as defined in § 9.5–301(c) of this title; or\n(2) Exempt from the registration requirements under § 9.5–304 of this title.\n(c) “Provider organization” means an organization that:\n(1) Includes family child care providers; and\n(2) Has as one of its purposes the representation of family child care providers in their relations with the State.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=9.5-701","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"c7c951ccb8e8ab8e5b58d3b0c0adf3b03a977df2a5a0a55ac998ef0a21167a42","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-9.5-609","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-9.5-702"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
