Code, Election Law § 10–201.1","heading":"","body":"(a) The State Board shall develop and implement a marketing campaign to recruit individuals to serve as election judges in polling places in the State.\n(b) The marketing campaign shall:\n(1) disseminate information on the importance of election judges;\n(2) disseminate information on how to apply to be an election judge, eligibility requirements, and compensation; and\n(3) target diverse voter populations, including multilingual individuals.\n(c) A local board may supplement the marketing campaign implemented by the State Board under subsection (a) of this section.","path":["Article - Election Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gel\u0026section=10-201.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:47Z","sha256":"d4234f7b49e0ef6d3ad206de99d913926faf5b91fe6c51f2f40c956f1f6ddbfb","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-election-law-10-201","next":"us-md/md.-code-election-law-10-202"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
