Code, Election Law § 13–220.1","heading":"","body":"(a) Each central committee of a political party or legislative party caucus committee may establish one administrative account.\n(b) Disbursements from an administrative account may be made only for nonelectoral purposes.\n(c) A donation to an administrative account:\n(1) may be made only if the donor is aware that the donation will be used for nonelectoral purposes and consents to that use before making the donation; and\n(2) is not subject to § 13–226(b) of this subtitle.\n(d) A campaign finance entity may not make a transfer to an administrative account.\n(e) The State Board shall adopt regulations that:\n(1) define permissible nonelectoral disbursements from an administrative account; and\n(2) require disclosure of:\n(i) donations to an administrative account; and\n(ii) disbursements from an administrative account.","path":["Article - Election Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gel\u0026section=13-220.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:47Z","sha256":"fa56481c66f83c06b12e255a6f58b5ba83235e10dbc84533ed5edcf6703b76cd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-election-law-13-220","next":"us-md/md.-code-election-law-13-220.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
