Code, Election Law § 13–222","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) By the next deadline for filing a campaign finance report after receiving a contribution specified in paragraph (2) of this subsection, a treasurer shall issue a campaign contribution receipt on the form that the State Board prescribes.\n(2) A campaign contribution receipt shall be mailed or delivered to each person who makes one or more contributions in the cumulative amount of $51 or more.\n(3) At the request of a contributor, a treasurer shall issue a campaign contribution receipt for any other contribution.\n(4) A campaign contribution receipt issued under this section is evidence of the contribution.\n(b) The information from a campaign contribution receipt shall be included in the campaign finance report filed by the treasurer under this title.","path":["Article - Election Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gel\u0026section=13-222","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:47Z","sha256":"2cc8bb366acbe69b62c6b5133960f4e25e2dac55fd70b674b313f4444512cfea","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-election-law-13-221","next":"us-md/md.-code-election-law-13-223"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
