Code, Environment § 13–505","heading":"","body":"(a) A person who violates any provision of this title or of any regulation adopted under this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject:\n(1) To a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment not exceeding 3 months, or both; or\n(2) To a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year, or both, for any subsequent violation of this title that occurs within 2 years of an earlier violation of this title.\n(b) Each day that a person practices well drilling without a license constitutes a separate offense.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=13-505","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"7e45221574da4465ab42c554b693a408e89ac57575061eb690444b5d2a70d0b9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-13-502","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-13-506"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
