Code, Environment § 4–603","heading":"","body":"The Board of Public Works, upon the recommendation of the Secretary, may award a loan to an owner of an underground storage tank to cover the following costs:\n(1) Tank upgrade or replacement costs necessary to meet the technical requirements of regulations adopted by the Environmental Protection Agency for underground storage tanks;\n(2) Costs of site assessment after the upgrade or replacement is completed to determine eligibility for insurance, not to exceed $3,000; and\n(3) Costs of any additional apparatus necessary to bring the underground storage tank system into compliance with other State and federal requirements.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=4-603","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"c2d63bb8326656d643c9d7db7703c8513b5ae13c75d4dc5fb7af99d8ec99932c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-4-602","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-4-604"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
