Code, Environment § 6–1203","heading":"","body":"(a) To enforce the provisions of this subtitle, the Department may:\n(1) Notify a person that there are grounds for suspecting that the person may be in violation of this subtitle; and\n(2) Request that the person certify that the product or flame-retardant part of the product that the person manufactured, processed, sold, or distributed is in compliance with this subtitle.\n(b) If the person fails to certify that the product or flame-retardant part of the product is in compliance, the Department may seek an injunction under § 6-1204 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=6-1203","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"b797169545aea6a97b70f489916d36ce2b5009c3792090f6bbd3585e092cbb50","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-1202.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-1204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
