Code, Environment § 6–411","heading":"","body":"(a) To apply for a license, a business entity or public unit shall:\n(1) Submit an application to the Department on the form that the Department requires; and\n(2) Pay to the Department the application fee set by the Department.\n(b) The application form shall include:\n(1) The name and address of the business entity or public unit;\n(2) A description of the protective clothing and respirators that the business entity or public unit will use;\n(3) The name and address of each asbestos disposal site that the business entity or public unit will use;\n(4) A description of the site decontamination procedures that the business entity or public unit will use;\n(5) A description of the removal and encapsulation methods that the business entity or public unit will use;\n(6) A description of the procedures that the business entity or public unit will use for handling waste containing asbestos;\n(7) A description of the air monitoring procedures that the business entity or public unit will use;\n(8) A description of the final clean-up procedures that the business entity or public unit will use;\n(9) The signature of the chief executive officer of the business entity or the chief executive officer’s designee, or the signature of a representative of the public unit; and\n(10) Any other information that the Department requires.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=6-411","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"e41aaebc19adfe69b246c2f9b5a7353305e9679487537e55f96cca71f72a6611","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-410","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-412"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
