Code, Environment § 6–414","heading":"","body":"(a) Each licensee shall:\n(1) Keep a record of each asbestos removal or encapsulation project that it performs; and\n(2) Make that record available to the Department at any reasonable time.\n(b) The records required by this section shall be kept for at least 6 years.\n(c) The records required by this section shall include:\n(1) The name and address of the individual who supervised the asbestos removal;\n(2) The location of and a description of the project and the amount of asbestos material that was removed;\n(3) The starting and completion dates of each instance of removal;\n(4) A summary of the procedures that were used to comply with all applicable standards;\n(5) The name and address of each asbestos disposal site where the waste containing asbestos was deposited; and\n(6) Any other information that the Department requires.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=6-414","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"f428a883ecbab9f3e05a695dce753883d329a5dd6effd894ff8942ebc57cfe6d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-413","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-414.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
