Code, Environment § 6–702","heading":"","body":"(a) A physician who believes that a patient under the physician’s care has an occupational disease shall submit a report to the Secretary and the Secretary of Health.\n(b) The report shall:\n(1) State the name, address, occupation, and place of employment of the patient;\n(2) Identify the suspected disease; and\n(3) Contain any other information that the Secretary requires.\n(c) The Secretary shall give the information received under this section to the Commissioner of Labor and Industry.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=6-702","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"d0cab10c7d60c316f77535eb627d7f5eef0dde0a8a85b1afa5ef8c0c46fb7562","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-701","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-801"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
