Code, Environment § 6–803","heading":"","body":"(a) This subtitle applies to:\n(1) Affected property; and\n(2) Notwithstanding subsection (b) of this section, any residential rental property, the owner of which elects to comply with this subtitle.\n(b) This subtitle does not apply to:\n(1) Property not expressly covered in subsection (a) of this section;\n(2) Affected property owned or operated by a unit of federal, State, or local government, or any public, quasi-public, or municipal corporation, if the affected property is subject to lead standards that are equal to, or more stringent than, the risk reduction standard established under § 6-815 of this subtitle; or\n(3) Affected property which is certified to be lead-free pursuant to § 6-804 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=6-803","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"aa29d85345786f0b5f13f2ac8d937e00a005650b35492e400994f61cb779b2fd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-802","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-804"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
