Code, Environment § 6–808","heading":"","body":"(a) The Commission shall meet at least quarterly at the times and places it determines.\n(b) From among the members, the Governor shall appoint the Chairman of the Commission.\n(c) (1) A majority of the members then serving on the Commission constitutes a quorum.\n(2) The Commission may act upon a majority vote of the quorum.\n(d) A member of the Commission:\n(1) May not receive compensation; but\n(2) Is entitled to reimbursement from the Fund for reasonable travel expenses related to attending meetings and other Commission events in accordance with the Standard State Travel Regulations.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=6-808","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"60078ccbb1d2533b7e6860fe7eacdd1d320a33d5517e160169e972c05d8b74de","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-807","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-6-810"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
