Code, Environment § 7–226","heading":"","body":"(a) This section does not apply to any controlled hazardous substance that is:\n(1) Used for residential purposes; or\n(2) Regulated by the State Department of Agriculture.\n(b) Any person who generates, uses, treats, stores, or disposes of a controlled hazardous substance at any time after 6 months from the date the Department issues a rule or regulation that identifies the hazardous substance to be a controlled hazardous substance shall file a report with the Department.\n(c) The report required by this section:\n(1) Shall be filed within a time set by the Department;\n(2) Shall be on the form provided by the Department; and\n(3) Shall include the following information about the controlled hazardous substance, if applicable:\n(i) Name of the hazardous substance.\n(ii) Volume.\n(iii) Quantity.\n(iv) Level and kind of radioactivity.\n(v) Half-life.\n(vi) Manner of management.\n(vii) Manner of disposal.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=7-226","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"880a094f71f779405f19416b48ff93005f04b37871ca86eadec1c68c2bd60444","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-7-225","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-7-227"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
