Code, Environment § 9–1802","heading":"","body":"(a) By January 1, 1990, each county shall prepare and submit an assessment of the feasibility of establishing a program for the acceptance of household hazardous waste from residents of the county to the Secretary.\n(b) The assessment prepared and submitted under subsection (a) of this section shall include:\n(1) The estimated cost of providing one household hazardous waste collection day every year;\n(2) The feasibility and estimated cost of establishing a regional household hazardous waste collection day every year for the county’s geographic region of the State; and\n(3) Any other information that would be of use to the State in determining whether to mandate household hazardous waste collection days in each county.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=9-1802","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"98af98b570423197b2570935273d8cee9331d295da129b2aed115f8aa90fb02a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-1801","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-1803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
