Code, Environment § 9–2204","heading":"","body":"(a) The Department shall conduct a public education and outreach campaign before and during the implementation of this subtitle.\n(b) The public education and outreach campaign required under subsection (a) of this section shall include:\n(1) Contact with food service businesses, in consultation with relevant units of county government and relevant trade organizations;\n(2) Contact with schools, in consultation with the Maryland State Department of Education;\n(3) Distribution of information through State Internet and web–based resources; and\n(4) News releases and news events.\n(c) The Department shall conduct a public education and outreach antilittering campaign.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=9-2204","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"69fe9ce87f5e4aa73267abc9aa2b25175c58529d03f537090ba49f06ca4d776a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-2203","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-2205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
