Code, Environment § 9–508","heading":"","body":"(a) If the Department disapproves, in whole or in part, a proposed county plan or a proposed revision or amendment of a county plan, the Department shall give the county a written notice of disapproval that states the reasons for disapproval.\n(b) At any time up to 6 months after a county receives the notice of disapproval, the county governing body may ask the Secretary to reconsider the disapproval in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Department.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=9-508","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"893581ca95e913d0c903d2b1e1602c20af9d57cdf96d244f9ecd5a53af0973d5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-507","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-509"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
