Code, Environment § 9–516","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies only in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County.\n(b) The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission shall provide any information and assistance requested by the county council or the county executive for preparing, reviewing, adopting, revising, or amending a county plan.\n(c) The county council and county executive of each county, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission shall adopt procedures for:\n(1) Requesting information or assistance under this section;\n(2) Responding to the request; and\n(3) Setting a reasonable timetable for response to a request.\n(d) The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission shall provide any requested information about the comprehensive plan for water supply systems and sewerage systems in each county as to:\n(1) Engineering;\n(2) Design;\n(3) Present and future capacities;\n(4) Available service projections;\n(5) Fiscal elements; and\n(6) Annual revisions of this information.\n(e) The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission shall provide any requested information to each county as to:\n(1) Population;\n(2) Growth projections;\n(3) Planning factors; and\n(4) Other developmental standards.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=9-516","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"cfdb9dde4c173130a44229677bdab0216a1421cfb5cf697d3a73ab97ff8d8d2f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-515","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-517"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
