Code, Environment § 9–806","heading":"","body":"(a) The authorizing resolution may provide that the bonds shall contain a recital that they are issued under this subtitle.\n(b) The authorizing resolution shall state that the interest on bonds issued under this subtitle shall be payable twice a year.\n(c) The authorizing resolution or any subsequent resolution may provide that the bonds issued under this subtitle:\n(1) Be in 1 or more series;\n(2) Bear a certain date or dates;\n(3) Be executed in a certain manner;\n(4) Contain certain terms, covenants, and conditions;\n(5) Be in coupon or registered form, or both;\n(6) May mature at a certain time or times, but not later than 40 years from their respective dates of issuance;\n(7) Be payable in a certain medium of payment;\n(8) Be payable at a certain place or places;\n(9) Carry certain registration privileges; and\n(10) Be subject to certain terms of redemption.","path":["Article - Environment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gen\u0026section=9-806","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:58Z","sha256":"0e2516e15e3eb17c18ce3d0da55de054580597c2dc0403988c45a35d3483a14e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-805","next":"us-md/md.-code-environment-9-807"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
