Code, Estates and Trusts § 13.5–103","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) A court of this State may communicate with a court in another state concerning a proceeding arising under this title.\n(2) The court may allow the parties to participate in a communication described in paragraph (1) of this subsection.\n(3) (i) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this section, the court shall make a record of the communication.\n(ii) A record described in this paragraph may be limited to the fact that the communication occurred.\n(b) A court communicating with a court in another state under this section may communicate concerning schedules, calendars, court records, and other administrative matters without making a record.","path":["Article - Estates and Trusts"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=get\u0026section=13.5-103","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:07Z","sha256":"bba8783edeba47ec2149e784a65df82f1a6166ce8b86359b4cec07190b4a6f3d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-estates-and-trusts-13.5-102","next":"us-md/md.-code-estates-and-trusts-13.5-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
