Code, Family Law § 4–606","heading":"","body":"(a) To assist displaced homemakers in becoming gainfully employed, the center shall provide them with:\n(1) counseling;\n(2) training;\n(3) skills;\n(4) services; and\n(5) education.\n(b) To the extent the center has the resources available, the center may also provide these services to persons who are at least 30 years old and:\n(1) who satisfy the criteria for displaced homemakers under § 4-601(2), (3), (4), and (5) of this subtitle; or\n(2) who have depended on Aid to Families with Dependent Children or temporary cash assistance for at least 24 months.","path":["Article - Family Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfl\u0026section=4-606","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:17Z","sha256":"7b2ef37f9ba8e06db1ca1511a9f4d3c0bd27e0ef1e5a52b4e1c2a67470179027","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-4-605","next":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-4-607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
