Code, Family Law § 5–1306","heading":"","body":"The effectiveness of efforts to address the health, mental health, education, and well–being of a child committed to the Department shall be measured by:\n(1) the percentage of children in out–of–home placements who received a comprehensive assessment in compliance with federal regulations for the early and periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment program within 60 days of entering out–of–home placement;\n(2) the percentage of eligible children entering foster care or kinship care who:\n(i) have been examined by a medical provider within 10 days of entry into the out–of–home placement; and\n(ii) have a designated health care provider within 10 days of entry into the out–of–home placement;\n(3) the percentage of school–aged children in out–of–home placements enrolled in school; and\n(4) any other indicators adopted by the Secretary under § 5–1302 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Family Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfl\u0026section=5-1306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:17Z","sha256":"90aa07dbc079e3747c10d796b041ea9e6c9dad3e20eefb4909ddde8629c68d42","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-5-1305","next":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-5-1307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
