Code, Family Law § 5–322","heading":"","body":"(a) If all consents for guardianship of a child have been given in accordance with this subtitle and the child has not objected, a juvenile court may enter an order for guardianship.\n(b) (1) Within 5 days after entry of an order under this section, a juvenile court shall give notice of the order to:\n(i) each party or, if represented, counsel;\n(ii) each of the child’s living parents who has not waived the right to notice;\n(iii) each living parent’s last attorney of record in the CINA case; and\n(iv) the child’s last attorney of record in the CINA case.\n(2) Notice under this subsection shall be by first-class mail.\n(3) Notice to a party under this subsection shall be sent to the party’s last address known to the juvenile court.","path":["Article - Family Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfl\u0026section=5-322","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:17Z","sha256":"ab0816f10f658cb028bcc521b91016ff9b9783728ead75377543b6f5efd3a151","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-5-321","next":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-5-323"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
