Code, Family Law § 5–518","heading":"","body":"(a) A person aggrieved by a final decision of the highest administrative appellate authority in a contested case may take any further appeal as allowed by the Administrative Procedure Act.\n(b) If a further appeal is taken under this section:\n(1) any criminal prosecution of the person for carrying on without a license an activity for which the person must be licensed under this subtitle shall be stayed pending the appeal;\n(2) any injunction against the person for carrying on without a license an activity for which the person must be licensed under this subtitle shall be stayed pending the appeal; and\n(3) the court has discretion as to the care, custody, or control of any child whose care, custody, or control is the responsibility of the person.","path":["Article - Family Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfl\u0026section=5-518","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:17Z","sha256":"8344c463cdc95727bcdb97824ce4fa2d1db0b53da8a5e9e5cd1bf3024214db2e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-5-517","next":"us-md/md.-code-family-law-5-519"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
