Code, Financial Institutions § 12–1006","heading":"","body":"(a) A person registering as a debt settlement services provider with the Commissioner under this subtitle shall pay to the Commissioner a nonrefundable fee in the amount of:\n(1) $400 for the issuance of a registration under this subtitle; and\n(2) $400 for the renewal of a registration under this subtitle.\n(b) In addition to the registration fee required under subsection (a) of this section, a registrant for the issuance of a registration or a renewal of a registration shall pay to NMLS any fees that NMLS imposes in connection with the issuance of the registration or the renewal of the registration.","path":["Article - Financial Institutions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfi\u0026section=12-1006","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:27Z","sha256":"fab18a4fe11889b6c04a04b9307d27f1895766adcaf6367841e4513e11a36554","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-12-1005","next":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-12-1007"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
