Code, Financial Institutions § 12–1009","heading":"","body":"(a) A registration issued under this subtitle expires on December 31 of each year.\n(b) On or after November 1 of the year in which a registration expires, the registration may be renewed for an additional 1–year term if the registrant:\n(1) Otherwise is entitled to be registered;\n(2) Pays to the Commissioner the renewal fee established under § 12–1006 of this subtitle;\n(3) Submits to the Commissioner a renewal application on the form that the Commissioner requires; and\n(4) Pays to NMLS any fees that NMLS imposes in connection with the renewal of the registration.","path":["Article - Financial Institutions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfi\u0026section=12-1009","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:27Z","sha256":"ef58b0675e8f73f400b349987745d7b072c3dd38a7f7ae0881e223dc45a8a330","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-12-1008","next":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-12-1010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
