Code, Financial Institutions § 12–113","heading":"","body":"(a) A licensee may not add, delete, or modify a location required to be listed in NMLS under § 12–110(a)(2), (3), or (4) of this subtitle unless:\n(1) The licensee provides to the Commissioner, through NMLS and in accordance with any regulations the Commissioner adopts, notice of the addition, deletion, or modification;\n(2) The addition, deletion, or modification of the location is recorded with the information associated with the licensee’s license in NMLS; and\n(3) The addition, deletion, or modification of the location otherwise complies with this subtitle.\n(b) The licensee may not do business at a location or in a geographic area required to be listed in NMLS by § 12–110(a)(2), (3), or (4) of this subtitle until the location or geographic area is recorded with the information associated with the licensee’s license in NMLS.","path":["Article - Financial Institutions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfi\u0026section=12-113","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:27Z","sha256":"c8a5f429eb6522f8751146131b495db20026cfd114ca8af44f9a803d66e2abcb","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-12-112","next":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-12-114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
