Code, Financial Institutions § 9–621","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) When the Division Director receives the items listed in § 9-620 of this subtitle, the Division Director shall publish a notice of the filing.\n(2) The notice shall state that a public hearing is scheduled on a date that is not more than 45 days after the filing.\n(b) The notice shall be published:\n(1) At least once each week for 2 successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the political subdivision where the principal business office of the converting federal association is located; and\n(2) In the Maryland Register as provided in the State Documents Law.","path":["Article - Financial Institutions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfi\u0026section=9-621","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:27Z","sha256":"dfbfbc73b6f7f06202a1f0ce4dfbafd9171ea678fd7d98b1e68578f0137932ff","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-9-620","next":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-9-622"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
