Code, Financial Institutions § 9–637","heading":"","body":"(a) The board of directors of the converting association shall deliver to the Commissioner:\n(1) A certified copy of the minutes of the meeting at which the conversion was approved; and\n(2) The executed charter amendments and a conformed copy.\n(b) On receipt of the minutes and charter amendments under subsection (a) of this section, the Commissioner shall:\n(1) Endorse the executed copy of the charter amendments as approved; and\n(2) Send to the converting association:\n(i) The endorsed copy; and\n(ii) A final order of approval of the conversion to a commercial bank.","path":["Article - Financial Institutions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gfi\u0026section=9-637","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:27Z","sha256":"5d4809cd3c5aac10ef2b621cf8e2f44d17795de2521d1d1b4d6b33cbd351b6ba","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-9-636","next":"us-md/md.-code-financial-institutions-9-638"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
