Code, General Provisions § 4–322","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “surveillance image” has the meaning stated in § 10–112 of the Criminal Law Article.\n(b) Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, a custodian of a surveillance image shall deny inspection of the surveillance image.\n(c) A custodian shall allow inspection of a surveillance image:\n(1) by any person issued a citation under § 10–112 of the Criminal Law Article, or by an attorney of record for the person; or\n(2) by an employee or agent of the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development in an investigation or a proceeding relating to the imposition of or indemnification from civil liability under § 10–112 of the Criminal Law Article.\n(d) Notwithstanding subsection (b) of this section, the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development may publicly disseminate a surveillance image as part of an investigation.","path":["Article - General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ggp\u0026section=4-322","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:37Z","sha256":"4990bacf0b6ecaba0a4468f386299f0ca880865f6ede7d20763b3ed0ff88dd3d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-general-provisions-4-321","next":"us-md/md.-code-general-provisions-4-323"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
