Code, Health - General § 10–427","heading":"","body":"(a) The technical review committee consists of the following 11 members:\n(1) As ex officio members:\n(i) The Superintendent of the Center; and\n(ii) The Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry;\n(2) 3 psychologists;\n(3) 3 physicians who are licensed to practice medicine in this State and devote a substantial amount of professional time to the practice of psychiatry; and\n(4) 3 citizens of this State chosen by the Executive Board of the Center from individuals who are interested in and concerned about the care of individuals who have a mental disorder and about research directed toward the prevention, discovery of causes, and treatment of mental disorders and allied conditions.\n(b) Of the 3 psychologists and 3 physicians:\n(1) 1 shall be chosen by the Executive Board of the Center from the University of Maryland School of Medicine;\n(2) 2 shall be chosen by the Executive Board of the Center from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; and\n(3) 3 shall be chosen by the Executive Board of the Center from other affiliations, including private practitioners.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=10-427","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"2cfc9ee8861e629c1b33fb1804da54a61913d10154e688ba3083dc68dcb52766","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-10-426","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-10-428"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
