Code, Health - General § 10–519","heading":"","body":"(a) An applicant for a license shall submit an application to the Secretary on the form that the Secretary requires.\n(b) The application shall:\n(1) Be signed and verified by the applicant; and\n(2) Contain:\n(i) The name and address of the applicant;\n(ii) The street address of the property on which the private group home is to be located or, if it has no street address, a description that identifies the property;\n(iii) If the applicant does not own the property, the name of the owner;\n(iv) A statement that the applicant will comply with the laws, rules, and regulations that relate to establishing and operating the private group home;\n(v) A statement that the applicant has sufficient financial resources to establish and operate the private group home or that those resources are available to the applicant; and\n(vi) A description of the proposed program.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=10-519","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"8424defebc8460ce3a3d2621b4007dafa7f8104fa8db5547308ddc25cfbe8a2e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-10-518","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-10-524"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
