Code, Health - General § 13–1105","heading":"","body":"Before the Department distributes a Local Public Health Cancer Grant to any county under §§ 13-1107 through 13-1113 of this subtitle, the Department shall develop an inventory of publicly funded screening programs that includes information relating to:\n(1) The number and types of publicly funded screening programs for each targeted cancer, both statewide and in each county, and the number of individuals screened each year in these programs; and\n(2) The existence of mechanisms to ensure that uninsured individuals receive appropriate treatment for any cancer that is detected in the screening programs identified under item (1) of this section.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=13-1105","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"f0b3ab462ff7bda3ab01de96450794ce19f721241d2c46cdeb40d6e81b6f7031","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-1104","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-1106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
