Code, Health - General § 13–2105","heading":"","body":"The Advisory Board shall:\n(1) Investigate the needs of citizens with traumatic brain injuries;\n(2) Identify gaps in services to citizens with traumatic brain injuries;\n(3) Facilitate collaboration among State agencies that provide services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries;\n(4) Facilitate collaboration among organizations and entities that provide services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries;\n(5) Encourage and facilitate community participation in program implementation;\n(6) Issue an annual report to the Governor and, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, the General Assembly on or before November 30, 2005, and each November 30 thereafter:\n(i) Summarizing the actions of the Advisory Board and containing recommendations for:\n1. Providing oversight in acquiring and utilizing State and federal funding dedicated to services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries;\n2. Building provider–capacity and provider–training that address the needs of individuals with traumatic brain injuries; and\n3. Improving the coordination of services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries; and\n(ii) Including information concerning the number of individuals served and the services provided in the preceding fiscal year to individuals with traumatic brain injury; and\n(7) Disseminate copies of the annual report to the President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and the secretary of each department represented on the Advisory Board.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=13-2105","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"2077fc7ef5d0503e9937dfcb5073b21e9b6ba4ad3e2a4a1e4c19f926a8b62a1f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-2104","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-21a-01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
