Code, Health - General § 13–4104","heading":"","body":"(a) A nonprofit training entity may disqualify a Program participant from participation in the Program if the nonprofit training entity determines that the Program participant’s involvement in the Program:\n(1) Presents a danger to the Program participant’s mental or physical well–being;\n(2) Is a direct threat to the health and safety of others;\n(3) Presents a direct threat to the mental or physical well–being of the service dog, support dog, or therapy horse; or\n(4) Does not meet the training requirements of the nonprofit training entity.\n(b) A Program participant may discontinue involvement in the Program for any reason.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=13-4104","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"4f56b006ab2b8a807046f286bb86507f3a785e2f15e8f02cd322e234b15bc524","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-4103","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-4105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
