Code, Health - General § 13–7A–05","heading":"","body":"(a) The Department shall issue a certificate to any applicant who meets the requirements of § 13–7A–04 of this subtitle.\n(b) Each certificate shall include:\n(1) The full name of the certificate holder; and\n(2) A serial number.\n(c) A replacement certificate may be issued to replace a lost, destroyed, or mutilated certificate if the certificate holder pays a certificate replacement fee set by the Department.\n(d) (1) A certificate shall be valid for a term of 1 year.\n(2) To renew a certificate for an additional 1–year term, the renewal applicant shall successfully complete a refresher educational training program approved by the Department under § 13–7A–03 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=13-7A-05","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"bc3456bf414dc9d9f6f8487ed9cc0300798654fa0d6f73e425e2b64d3c8f4802","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-7a-04","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-13-7a-06"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
