Code, Health - General § 15–140","heading":"","body":"The Department shall apply to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for a State plan amendment to the Family Planning Program that:\n(1) Provides, subject to the limitations of the State budget, family planning services to an individual whose individual income is at or below 250% of the poverty level, as allowed by federal law;\n(2) Does not impose age limitations on individuals who are able to receive family planning services;\n(3) Establishes a presumptive eligibility process for enrollment in the Family Planning Program; and\n(4) Exempts the Family Planning Program from federal coordination of benefits requirements if authorized under federal law.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=15-140","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"c76c7dcd1a3ba6deb40cab757b0c842b0369e6222ea5a081583466fd3d4064ac","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-15-139","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-15-141.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
