Code, Health - General § 17–103","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided, the Secretary may set a fee for any service of a public health and clinical laboratory in accordance with § 2–104 of this article.\n(b) Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, the Secretary may not impose any fee for any service of a public health and clinical laboratory in connection with:\n(1) An examination or analysis of a water supply;\n(2) An examination or analysis of milk; or\n(3) An inquiry that any health officer or physician makes about a communicable disease.\n(c) Subsection (b)(2) of this section does not apply to the production of farmstead cheese.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=17-103","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"6d57ea41b32f985c05d9e00ce77227cb1b2186932dd94dbe354694a6e4335388","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-17-102","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-17-103.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
