Code, Health - General § 17–2A–07","heading":"","body":"(a) The Secretary shall issue a license to an applicant that meets the standards and requirements of this subtitle.\n(b) A forensic laboratory license shall include the name of the:\n(1) Forensic laboratory;\n(2) Laboratory director; and\n(3) Operator or owner of the laboratory.\n(c) A forensic laboratory license shall designate the tests, examinations, or analyses that may be offered or performed by the laboratory.\n(d) A forensic laboratory may not operate in a manner not designated by the license issued under this subtitle.\n(e) A forensic laboratory license issued by the Secretary under this subtitle is not transferable.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=17-2A-07","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"e40474bb10de1f540f03a2c7be262c1bf32a2d7ce0d6b6f72c6cc4d34b7a1eab","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-17-2a-06","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-17-2a-09"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
