Code, Health - General § 19–1203","heading":"","body":"(a) This section does not apply to a special rehabilitation hospital that is licensed under Subtitle 3 of this title.\n(b) Any person that provides or holds himself out as providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation services on an out–patient basis shall obtain a comprehensive rehabilitation license before the person may provide comprehensive physical rehabilitation services in the State.\n(c) The Department shall issue a comprehensive rehabilitation license to any person for whom a comprehensive rehabilitation license is required if the person submits an application on the form established and provided for the Secretary.\n(d) While it is effective, a comprehensive rehabilitation license authorizes the licensed person to provide comprehensive physical rehabilitation services.\n(e) A person may not provide or hold himself out as providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation services on an out–patient basis unless the person has been issued a comprehensive rehabilitation license under this section.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=19-1203","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"1bbab7f0b7e2b296afb7e04f9dcabb0565756db8202ccffce6d8565f0bceef8c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-1202","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-1204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
