Code, Health - General § 19–1401.2","heading":"","body":"(a) On review of the information required under § 19–1401.1 of this subtitle and any other information that is relevant to the ability of the applicant to operate a nursing home, the Secretary may:\n(1) Approve an application for a license;\n(2) Deny an application for a license;\n(3) Approve an application for a license subject to conditions; or\n(4) Revoke a license.\n(b) Before taking action on a license under subsection (a) of this section, the Secretary shall consider any findings and decisions of the Maryland Health Care Commission provided to the Office of Health Care Quality under § 19–120.2 of this title.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=19-1401.2","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"ca83a692b5d0613a591f6b3c03064feb7251432a740101d258187c724db6fb4d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-1401.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-1401.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
