Code, Health - General § 19–4A–03","heading":"","body":"(a) The Department shall adopt regulations that set standards for the care, treatment, health, safety, welfare, and comfort of individuals who receive home health care services through a residential service agency.\n(b) The regulations shall provide for the licensing of residential service agencies.\n(c) The regulations shall include provisions that:\n(1) Provide for the establishment of residential service agencies;\n(2) Establish qualifications for licensure;\n(3) Set minimum standards for individuals who provide home health care services through a residential service agency; and\n(4) Require the residential service agency to screen and verify the character references of all home health care providers that are employed by the residential service agency.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=19-4A-03","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"f2b2e4009c17f01481c3d3570d612e5c005b875cd9675a039012f4656ea8a7eb","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-4a-02","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-4a-03.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
