Code, Health - General § 19–512","heading":"","body":"(a) Each board may adopt rules and regulations for the conduct of its meetings.\n(b) (1) Each board serves in an advisory capacity.\n(2) Each board shall:\n(i) Submit to the Secretary an annual report on:\n1. The needs of chronically ill individuals; and\n2. The extent to which its center meets these needs;\n(ii) Advise the administrative head of the center on its facilities, goals, programs, and policies;\n(iii) Help in evaluating the degree to which these goals are achieved;\n(iv) Review and make recommendations about the annual budget of the center;\n(v) Assume leadership in developing community understanding of the needs of chronically ill individuals; and\n(vi) Carry out any other responsibility that the administrative head of the center requests.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=19-512","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"061c36ab5238901ee7abf8a263171da35a93f30351a46766d7f37d2127fd07b5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-511","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-19-513"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
