Code, Health - General § 2–304","heading":"","body":"The appropriations described in this subtitle shall be used for programs, including related administrative expenses, directed at the following:\n(1) Communicable disease control services;\n(2) Environmental health services;\n(3) Family planning services;\n(4) Maternal and child health services;\n(5) Wellness promotion services;\n(6) Adult health and geriatric services;\n(7) Data management and exchange services regarding communicable diseases and other health matters, as allowed under federal and State law;\n(8) Providing protective equipment for nurses, physician assistants, physicians, and other health care personnel in contact with patients;\n(9) Providing equipment, medication, and other materials determined to be appropriate to prepare for potential communicable disease emergencies, or other public health emergencies; and\n(10) Administration and communication services associated with the provision of the services described in items (1) through (9) of this section.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=2-304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"ace4de668cc09c02c772e7303b61323cc2b010f16522d4393b25c47979713b25","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-2-303","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-2-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
